This Vermouth is born from the old family recipe of Fabio’s grand-father. The preparation is similar to the White Vermouth from Prato; the ingredients are different as in this case it’s needed the white and red wine instead only white wine and also spices and herbs are different as for example the sage.
This Vermouth’s tasting confirms again the absolute freshness and flavours’ harmony beside an agreeable fineness.
It’s clear, antique pink colour with copper nuances. To nose it’s intense, persistent, fine and wide with floral sensations as acacia, Spanish broom, hawthorn, and fruity sensations as cherry, redcurrant, pomegranate, candied orange and also spiced sensations as black pepper, nutmeg, officinal and balsamic herbs.
On tasting it’s sweet but fresh, savoury and warm with a light but agreeable final bitter, full and persistent sensation.
The after-taste is bitter but with fruity, spiced and balsamic remarks.
To be served cool as aperitif but it remains palatable during the whole day.
Ingredients: White and red wine, alcohol, sugar, cinnamon, sage, coriander, sweet orange peel, pontic absinth, gentian, cloves.
