In the mid-800 Bortolo Zanin opened an inn, which offered, between the various local food and drinks, even the “white spirit”. Zugliano people developped a passion for the “graspe” so much that Bortolo decided to begin to expand the production of distillates. In the ’40s, with the inn all in all closed, the son Rino continued the expansion activity of the distillery and aging of destillates, leading to fame the Cavallina Bianca brand. In the ’70s, with Fausto Zanin the company expands abroad, in 38 countries. Today the distillery is led by Piero Zanin and his brother-in-law Massimo Fontana, which have enlarged the production to new premises in Zugliano, restoring the old mill acquired by father Fausto. Four generations linked by the same passion, illustrated in the essence of every drop labeled Zanin 1895.

Cavallina Bianca

A snow-colored mare is the inspiring muse of this brandy grappa, which has always distinguished the Zugliano distillery.

Grappa Cavallina Bianca Blend 4, young brandy, produced by blending a blend of 4 types of grappa.

The particularity of this grappa is to “clean” the mouth after eating fatty foods. It can be drunk in purity, with ice, iced or as a correction in coffee.

La Grappa Cavallina Bianca Blend 4 is a young grappa, produced by blending a blend of 4 types of grappa of Merlot, Cabernet, Prosecco and Amarone grapes in different percentages, which give life to this perfect grappa. The distillation is done by discontinuous technique in copper caldaiette, with an aging of at least 8 months in steel drums.

With a crystalline color, it has a warm and persuasive scent that releases the typical floral and herbaceous scents of grappa in a very clean and soft setting. The taste is soft, balanced and delicate with fruity scents, with a lingering aftertaste.
